Our mission is to provide support, resources, and positive opportunities that improve lives and strengthen families.
Community Benefits began on April 20, 2011, established by work already done with Benefit Bank SC Thrives, managed and supervised by our State Regional Director, Richard Moses I. and Ulysses Sullivan, Jr. was assigned as a local Site Director in Bennettsville, South Carolina.
The purpose, mission and vision are to serve the community through various outreach resources. These resources include: providing assistance, family independence, and healthcare through various entities, such as, Welvista Prescription Assistance, Medicaid, Medicare RX help, food assistance through SNAP (food stamps), military (Veteran) benefites, education on housing benefits, voter registration, mental health support, and free state and federal tax preparation for those making less than $60,000 per year.
At El-Jireth Community Benefits, we believe that health is more than medical care—it’s about access to nourishing food, wellness education, and strong community support. Our Health & Wellness services are designed to strengthen individuals and families by promoting healthier lifestyles and meeting essential needs.
A major part of our mission is providing community food services that support wellness through nutrition. We proudly offer fresh, organic food sourced from local farmers, helping families access high-quality meals and ingredients while also supporting our local agricultural community. By providing healthy food options, we help reduce food insecurity and encourage long-term wellness across the community.
Through service, outreach, and health-centered programming, we work to create stronger and healthier communities—one person, one family, and one fresh meal at a time.

Financial Services
At El-Jireth Community Benefits, we offer financial services designed to help individuals and families build stability and plan for a stronger future. Our goal is to provide guidance, support, and resources that make it easier to manage finances, reduce stress, and make confident money decisions.
We provide assistance with services such as:
- Financial education and budgeting support
- Help understanding credit and improving financial habits
- Guidance for saving and long-term planning
- Referrals to trusted community resources
Our financial services are community-focused and designed to meet people where they are—helping them take practical steps toward financial growth and independence.

Our 501(3) C is an avenue for organizations to receive tax credit for charitable giving. Our goal, vision and mission is to strive towards excellence while serving. Our theme and moto is “Here to Serve”.

Helping Young People Grow With Purpose, Confidence, and Support
Youth on the Move is a youth development program created by El-Jireth Community Benefits to inspire and empower young people through structured activities, mentorship, and positive community engagement. Our goal is to support youth academically, socially, emotionally, and personally—so they can grow into confident, responsible, and motivated leaders.
This program is built for youth who are ready to grow, learn, and thrive in a positive environment where they are encouraged to be their best selves.
Our Commitment to Safety & Support
We provide structured activities, consistent supervision, and positive guidance to ensure youth feel safe, supported, and valued. Our program is focused on building a healthy environment where youth can develop emotionally, socially, and academically.
